Our Programs
LTED is an optimal training, competition and recovery schedule specific to equestrian athletes for each stage of athletic development.
Wild Rose competitions are provincial-level competitions and shows for the Alberta equestrian community. The program offers the structure to maintain fair, safe, credible, and affordable competitions and shows.
We administer Coaching Certification Handbook Equestrian Canada’s National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP). Upholding the standards of the NCCP ensures equestrian sport and experiences remain safe and enjoyable for all participants – horse and human.
A fun and comprehensive program that teaches activities and skills that are fundamental to success in horseback riding.
A program that provides an opportunity for riders to progress through a series of increasingly complex written tests, interviews, and under-saddle jump and flat tests.
This program develops and licenses accredited judges and stewards for Wild Rose sanctioned competitions.
A rewards program designed to give recreational riders, drivers and vaulters an extra incentive to spend more hours in the saddle or behind the breeching.
The trail riding community is constantly growing and the AEF continues to advocate for horse access to trails and horse camping facilities.
